Once again we found a new and exciting Country to visit for the 7th World Championship, Taiwan. Here we were welcomed with open arms and treated to a wonderful week of golf and hospitality.
The 72 hole tournament was held over four different courses, Chang Gung, Formosa First, Taiwan and Linkou Golf Clubs. All courses were private courses and presented in excellent condition.
There were 150 competitors from 10 different countries, Australia (9), Canada (3), Finland (1), Hong Kong (2), Ireland (4), New Zealand (2), Sweden (2), U.S.A. (14), Japan (48) and Taiwan (65).
Dr. Paul Lu President NALG (Taiwan) gave a hearty welcome to all participants with special respect and gratitude to guests from overseas.
The tournament was played Thursday 14th, Friday 15, Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th November 1991.
The Presentation Banquet was held in the International Hall at the Ambassador Hotel, Taipai on Tuesday 19th November 1991.
The World Champion was Y.H. Lin (Taiwan)
The Senior Champion was Doug Fleming, Canada.
The Doug Crosby World Cup was won by Taiwan.
